Our communities first ~ Veterans' Pentacle Rights Ritual
Join us Saturday, February 24th, 2007 at Noon, upper State Capitol Mall in downtown St Paul, Minnesota, for our First Veterans' Pentacle Rights Ritual of this Initiative. Ritual promptly at 12.30 pm.
State Capitol Map - FREE parking in all Capital lots.
Absolutely No RITUAL TOOLS of any Kind ~ It is Winter, Muffle up if you need anonymity !
Minnesota street clothes suggested.
We have reserved the 60 foot by 120 foot area immediately below the State Capitol for the Ritual. Ample parking is available in front and behind the capital on weekends, all contract lots are open FREE to the public. Please arrive Noon, especially if taking a ritual role.
We will have a special Veteran Color Guard, who will provide a gate into our Circle, and then cast. Any Veterans who would like to participate in this Honor, should contact us immediately!
The famed Minnesota Besom Brigade is tentatively scheduled to banish the circle, and their brooms will become the 5 foot central pentacle symbol of our working.
Several area groups have offered their support. Standing Stones, Circle of Phoenix, Shades of Gray, CUUPS, and Harmony Tribe will each speak to a directional aspect of the circle and Honor the respective Pentacle Point. Representatives of Mists of Stone Forest, the Temple of Divine Light, and Glenn Tradition will address the Hoop of the People, the Lord, and the Lady.
Participants (Please Join Us) will charge ties with intent and come forward to add these symbols to our central Pentacle, with song and celebration. Brief closing ceremonies will complete this public rite.
